What is Coordinator Camp?
Coordinator Camp is a day-long, professional development and networking opportunity for adults who work with youth. Occurring every three years, recently in conjunction with the National Conference on Tobacco or Health, Coordinator Camp is a leading space for Coordinators to learn new skills and best practices, get inspired by great work being done nationwide, and build relationships with fellow Coordinators, the YEA, Truth Initiative and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
Attendees will be provided with breakfast and lunch, and can expect to have breaks throughout the day between General Sessions, Breakouts, and community building activities.
Who attends Coordinator Camp?
Coordinator Camp is designed for adult tobacco prevention professionals doing youth engagement work. Whether you’re brand new to your role, a seasoned pro in youth engagement, or simply looking to reinvigorate your work, Coordinator Camp is for you!
At Coordinator Camp 2022, attendees hailed from 26 states/territories and represented tobacco prevention and youth engagement programs engaging at the local, state, and federal levels.
We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse space for the Youth Engagement Alliance and Coordinator Camp 2025. We also strive to host accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. To request an accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility, please fill out the registration form or contact Nicole Sutton: nicolesuttonyea@gmail.com.
To offset some of the costs of travel and lodging surrounding Coordinator Camp 2025, the Youth Engagement Alliance is providing stipends to a limited number of participants. Interested registrants can learn more here.
